Jimmy Felvia began playing the piano at the age of seven with clarinetist Barel Coppet, who taught him the fundamentals of Caribbean music.  

In 2002, he joined the Bill Evans Piano Academy in Paris, a renowned jazz school. From 2005 onward, he performed under his own name and, in 2007, recorded his first album, Sweet Caraïb, which achieved success in the French Caribbean and received two nominations at the 2008 SACEM Awards. In 2013, he released Spirit Up Trio, featuring an Urban Jazz sound.  

Jimmy Felvia has collaborated with artists from diverse backgrounds, including Sulaiman Hakim, Chyco Siméon, Victor O, Maurice Bouchard, and Franck Nicolas. His music draws on his Caribbean roots, traditional songs, and the rhythms of Bèlè, reflecting an inner journey enriched by his many influences. Jimmy Felvia, a passionate jazz musician.
