Born in Paris and of Caribbean heritage, Faby Médina first stepped onto the stage as a dancer at the age of five. Curious and passionate, she went on to explore several instruments, including piano, violin, and flute, before ultimately choosing classical singing at the age of fourteen. At twenty, she fully entered the professional world by joining Jérôme Savary’s troupe in Bertolt Brecht’s play The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, where she showcased her talents as a singer and dancer while discovering the world of theatre. This marked the beginning of a rich artistic journey, shaped by influential encounters with jazz, gospel, and popular music musicians, as well as actors and stage directors.  

Faby gained her experience alongside some of the most renowned French and international artists, including Guillaume Canet, Gérald De Palmas, Rod Stewart, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, Céline Dion, Michel Jonasz, Garou, IAM, Suprême NTM, Amel Bent, Louane, Yannick Noah, and many others. 

Faby Médina is also a songwriter and composer for film and television. Among her notable works is the single Femme, featured on the soundtrack of the movie « Yamakasi », produced by Luc Besson. She has also appeared on iconic French television music programs such as Taratata and N’oubliez pas les paroles ! 

For more than twenty years, Faby has been the lead vocalist of the Big Band of Claude Bolling, the composer notably known for the celebrated Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio. 

 Today, Faby Médina is writing her own musical story. Her first album, Following Love, reveals a universe blending swing, bebop, and pop, carried by a voice infused with a touch of soul. With her second album, Wild is the Flower, she pays tribute to powerful, free, and courageous women—those who dare, those who inspire. It is a declaration of love to feminine strength, brought to life by an artist who is wholehearted, daring, and unmistakably unique.
