Jocelyn Ménard is a Canadian jazz saxophonist, composer, and arranger who trained in Montreal, New York, and Paris. Since settling in Guadeloupe in 1988, he has built a diverse career as a performer, educator, and bandleader, collaborating with numerous artists and founding several jazz ensembles, including the Big Band Mavounzy, Gwanada, and the Caribbean Jazz Group. He also established his own music school in 1997. 

Alongside his many collaborations in Canada, Guadeloupe, and France, Ménard has released several albums, including Men Art Work’s (2001) and Terre Mère (2012), featuring his original compositions. An active presence on the international jazz scene, he continues to perform, tour, and develop multidisciplinary projects while sharing his expertise through masterclasses and initiatives that celebrate Caribbean jazz.
